The Solders Memorial Flagpole, built to honor solders of all wars, was originally dedicated on Armistice Day, November 11, 1939. The White Bear Lake Lions Club led the restoration project with generous financial support from the White Bear Lake Lions, citizens, and business members of the community. The restoration was completed in 2018, and the rededication of the flagpole was held on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 2018, the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice on November 11, 1918, to end World War I.
