The White Bear Lake Lions Club show is solely managed and run by White Bear Lake Lions club members and volunteers who provided many hours of service where proceeds are returned to the White Bear Lake community. The club generally performed the show each springtime around March after many months of dance, song, costume, and script rehearsals. The show served as a fundraising event that is the attraction for widespread family and friends, as well as other Lion Clubs and local community leaders. Many club members have had generations of service volunteers that tie the fellowship of their service together.
The first White Bear Lake Lions Club Show was in 1946, just one year after the club started. The show has been performed annually except for 1950 when, for some mysterious reason, it was not performed. Covid restrictions and subsequent construction in the White Bear Lake Schools ended the streak of performances, however, “The Show” may possibly return in the future.
