The White Bear Lake Lions Club has purchased and provided a dictionary to all public and private school third grade students in our community. A group of principals and third grade teachers chose the dictionary version they thought most appropriate for third-grade students. The dictionaries become the property of the students, theirs to own and take with them. The Lions Club made this an annual project for over 21 years and have donated over 14,000 dictionaries.

The White Bear Lions Club also purchased and provided a Thesaurus for each fifth-grade student in both public and private schools in the White Bear Lake Area School District.
